Walk Report
15 ramblers set out for today’s 11 mile walk from Monyash – a name said to mean “many waters.”
Between an unexpected June hailstorm and passing rain showers, we found ourselves walking through sunshine along the beautiful Bradford and Lathkill rivers. The dales were at their most vibrant, dressed in every shade of lush green, with sparkling water, ducklings, swans, herons and dramatic skies changing by the minute.
One of those days when the weather threw everything at us, yet somehow made the landscape even more magical.
