Moss Valley

Twenty walkers enjoyed a 12.5 mile route through woods, hay and corn fields as they explored the Moss Valley.   Starting from Eckington the route progressed along Lady Ida’s Drive to Bramley and across the fields to Troway, then descending to the valley bottom and up to Lightwood Lane and Ridgeway.    Plumbley and Eckington Hall came next before crossing the River Rother to the Transpennine Trail returning to the start point at Eckington Church.

The weather this week was perfect which made up for last weeks cancellation due to the fiercely hot weather
